How to use NasaClip®

Most nosebleeds just need firm, consistent pressure to help the bleeding slow and clotting begin. NasaClip was designed to make that process easier to manage, hands-free.

NasaClip® was built to make nosebleed relief feel more straightforward, with a clear process that is easy to apply when it matters most.

    Bend head forward, blow your nose forcefully to clear any clots.

    Extend clip arms, rotate sponges upward and insert into nostrils.

    Rotate clip into place and firmly squeeze corners so pads sit on nostrils flush against the face.

    Keep in place for 10 to 20 minutes.

    Remove and check for bleeding. If needed, rinse sponges, squeeze dry and reinsert 2-3 times until bleeding stops. Seek medical attention for nosebleeds lasting longer than 30 minutes.

    Open the clip and release one arm from the base.

    Fold the replacement sponge in half and align the holes.

    Slide the sponge onto the base and center it.

    Attach the arm back into place and close the clip.

  • Yes. NasaClip® is available in sizes for both kids and adults. The Kids version is designed for ages 2 to 13, while the Adult version is designed for ages 14 and up. Once you are 14 you usually have an adult sized nose.

  • Yes. NasaClip® N2 is designed to be reused. To keep it clean and ready for next time, replace the sponge after each use.

  • If bleeding continues, you can rinse and reuse NasaClip® 2 to 3 times during the same episode. If bleeding lasts 30 minutes or more, seek medical care.

  • N1 is the original metal, single-use version. N2 is the reusable plastic version with replaceable sponges. Both are designed to provide hands-free, comfortable compression, but N2 is made for repeated use.

  • Yes, NasaClip® is designed with medical grade sponges that can be medicated when directed by a physician or healthcare professional. Vascocontrictive or hemostatic agents such as Afrin® (oxymetazoline) or TXA are sometime recommended but you should follow the directions of your provider to ensure medications are safe for you to use.
